Coffee Aya, A Place To Embrace Solitude #saloncoffeeseries

Living in a city full of people who are always on the move and always strive for improvement, sometimes solitude and serenity is a luxury we can’t afford. And if there’s one thing we Jakartans could wish for, we guess it would be a pause button, to let everything sink in. Or if that sounds way too impossible, maybe it’s as simple as finding a quiet place where we could find ourselves at ease.

In the middle of Pasar Muara Karang, you can have an encounter with a coffee place with Japanese-inspired design, Coffee Aya. With no help of any outstanding wall decor or furniture, Coffee Aya does well in providing a place to go to another way, far and far from the loud noises this busy city produces.

Furnished in a minimalist style with white walls and wooden tables, this place really offers a calming ambience, credits to their well-curated playlist. And of course, the coffee they provide.

Coffee Aya could be one of some places that’s not only pretty to the eye (and of course, for our Instagram feeds), but also very solid in staying true to their core, it’s the quality of the coffee itself. For you who’s not a big fan of coffee, don’t worry, they also serve non-coffee beverages like chocolate, matcha, ice tea, and mineral water.

Hop to the second floor and expect a corner next to a giant window along with pillows and blankets, perfect for having a solo date with your favorite books, or keeping your focus at things you should be working on. And if you’re coming with your group, there’s also a space for you and your friends upstairs.
